In order to carry forward T&W’s culture of respecting people, encouraging teamwork and fighting for progress and to respond the call of achieving 2000k/month and guaranteeing 100-million output of wireless products, Shanghai Gongjin Technology organized the entire staff to climb the Mountain Huangshan in Anhui province — challenge the West Grand Canyon and walk on the Bright Summit.
Tang Funan, general manager of T&W, Wanlan, general manager of Shanghai Gongjin Technology, and Huang Yaozhong, vice general manager of Shanghai Gongjin Technology, participated in this climbing activity.
The entire staff started off at the Yuanzhong R&D building at 10:30 am on September 11. Ten persons formed a team; together there were 13 teams. We arrived at the Mountain Huangshan at 4:50 am on September 12 after a 6-hour journey and started to climb the mountain at 6:30 am. Eventually, the Howl Team first reached the Beihai Hotel at 11:26, taking only 4 hours to finish the entire route, which astonished the staff of the hotel.
None of the 122 participants gave up during the activity; every body overcame their physical and mental difficulties and stuck to finishing the entire route, which made a 100% successful arrive rate.
A variety show was held in the dancing hall of the Beihai Hotel at 5:30 pm the current day. At the beginning of the show, Wan Lan and Huang Yaozhong gave enthusiastic speeches respectively, showing their confidence in the company’s future development. Then, Tang Funan issued an award to the first-place team. Them came the programs: a song series by Taicang staff, Peacock Dance by the Administration Dept, Step Up by the Wireless Division, Tomorrow Will Be Better by the Optical Division, A Song for Our Motherland by the R&D platform and You Are a Song Inside My Heart by the marketing and HR departments. All the programs captured applauses and cheers. A short video on the Hainan tour of Shenzhen Gongjin moved the show to a summit.
At 8:15 am the next day, the entire staff started another tough journey of climbing down the mountain. First batch of staff reached the sign-in stand at 10:08; by 11:45, all staff gathered at the sign-in stand.
This Mountain Huangshan tour fully reflected the spirit of team work of Shanghai Gongjin Technology. During the midway of the mountain, some female team members dropped out due to lack of physical capacity. Our team leaders held them up and encouraged them to keep it up. Certain team leaders even worn out themselves, but they still stuck to finishing the entire route.
Every excellent team does have an excellent team leader. In this activity, every team leader played an important role in leading the team and every team member was unwilling to lag behind. We truly believe that Shanghai Gongjin Technology, with such team leaders and members, will be large excellent team of solidarity, vigor and vitality.
