This is an EoC CPE. The signal is modulated from Ethernet signal to carrier wave signal, and is transmitted through the coaxial cable (CATV transmission cable). It is a cost-effective, high performance, and high reliability broadband access solution. It can provide fast data and video transmission service, such as video-on-demand (VOD) and multimedia application, and broadband Internet service, for community and hotel users. The device can also provide feed-back channel for the digital TV. Because of the flexible and convenient networking of this device, changes to the existing CATV network are not required. Most importantly, the product has two or four 10/100 Ethernet (100 Mbps) ports, so it can easily meet requirements of establishing residential network and developing multiple services, without configuring extra switch.
