On the morning of July 28th, the 11th Summer Camp for Young Scientists of Tongwei Hope Primary School commenced simultaneously at the Pingshan and Taicang campuses. With the theme of "Chasing Dreams in the Era, Flying Hope," this summer camp drew the participation of 132 teachers and students from ten Tongwei Hope Primary Schools nationwide. The week-long summer camp officially got underway.
Long Xiaojing, the company's Deputy General Manager and Chairman of the Tongwei Charity Foundation; Fan Wenjie, the company's Chief Risk Control and Compliance Officer; Wang Jiawei, the company's Assistant General Manager; Chen Kai, the Vice Chairman of the Tongwei Charity Foundation; He Liang, the Factory Director of Zhitong Factory; Wang Hong, the Factory Director of Zhishuan Factory; Chen Zhongqiang, the Factory Director of the Automotive Electronics Factory; as well as directors and above-level cadres from both locations and foundation council members were invited to attend.

After exchanging greetings via video link, the Shenzhen camp and the Taicang camp held their respective opening ceremonies. He Liang, the Factory Director of Zhitong Factory, delivered a welcome address for the Shenzhen camp. Gao Yinyang, a volunteer representative who graduated from Tongwei Hope Primary School in Hezheng, Gansu Province, and was a former camper at the Shenzhen camp, is currently studying at the Central University of Finance and Economics. He shared his personal growth story of leaving the mountains and gaining admission to his ideal university. Wang Hong, the Factory Director of Zhishuan Factory, delivered a welcome address for the Taicang camp. Gao Tian, a volunteer representative who was a camper at the Taicang camp in 2013 and is now an intern teacher at her alma mater, Tongwei Hope Primary School in Eryuan, Yunnan Province, illustrated the relay and inheritance of philanthropic endeavors through her own experiences.
Chairman Long Xiaojing delivered a speech, stating that the summer camp provided an opportunity for mutual inspiration and mutual benefit for all staff and children. She wished that each edition of the summer camp would surpass the previous one in quality and encouraged the children to cherish the research and learning opportunities. Upon returning, they should share and disseminate their experiences to inspire their classmates and drive the entire school towards excellence through individual achievements.
